I was skeptical about the flame control on this paste burner, but the smooth dial makes it easy to keep fondue at just the right temperature without scorching. Works perfectly for our weekend Raclette parties.

The burner heats so evenly that my cheese stayed perfectly melted for the whole dinner, no scorching at the bottom. Swiss engineering really shows in how solid and stable it feels on the table. Cleanup was a breeze too, which is always my biggest worry with fondue nights.

The fondue set heats up evenly and the burner feels solid, though I wish the pot were a bit heavier for stability when full. Works well for a small group of four.
