DUROTHERM®/TIMAX Resort de soupape

I was a bit skeptical about spending this much on a valve set, but the craftsmanship is immediately obvious when you hold it. The weight and balance feel perfect in hand, and it's already become my go-to for everyday cooking.

The lid fits so snugly that steam barely escapes, which makes a real difference when simmering sauces. I've cooked with pricier sets that don't hold heat this evenly, so for the price, this one's a keeper.

Finally got this set and the heat distribution is incredible — no more hot spots when searing. The lids fit so snugly that I barely need any water to steam vegetables. Makes a noticeable difference from my old pans.
