The handle fits my hand perfectly and the wire mesh is finer than my old one, so it catches every last bit of foam. Solid build, feels like it'll last years. Used it for skimming stock yesterday and it worked like a charm.

The silicone head survived a full pot of simmering tomato sauce without staining or scratching my enamel pan. It's lightweight enough that I reach for it over my old metal skimmer every time.

The handle doesn't get slippery even when my hands are covered in batter, which was my main gripe with my old plastic one. It's light enough to shake over a hot pan without wrist fatigue. Solid little kitchen gadget.
