The cherry wood handles give these a warm, classic feel that plastic forks just can’t match, and they’re long enough to reach the pot without your knuckles brushing the rim. Six pieces is plenty for a small group, though the wood does need a quick hand-wash after each use.

These forks are the perfect length for reaching into the pot without your hand getting close to the hot cheese, and the cherry wood feels really nice and warm in the hand. They're also light enough that my wrist doesn't get tired during a long evening of dipping.

I wasn't sure about wooden handles for a fondue set, but these cherry wood forks are really nicely balanced and didn't splinter at all after their first wash. The tines are just the right length for dipping without the cheese cooling off.
