The caquelons distribute heat so evenly that my cheese melted perfectly without any scorching on the first try. I was also pleasantly surprised by how sturdy and well-balanced the réchaud feels when placed on the table.

Everything arrived in one neat box, and the caquelon itself feels wonderfully heavy and sturdy once you get it on the burner. We had a four-person fondue night and the pot held heat evenly the whole time, no scorching at the bottom.

The forks are nicely balanced and the burner holds a steady flame for hours. Only wish the set included a spare fuel canister to get started right away.
