DUROTHERM®/TIMAX Ventilfeder

The lid seals so tightly you can actually hear the air lock in, and it makes simmering sauces effortless. I've used it daily for stews and the heat distribution is impressively even across the whole base.

It took me a minute to figure out the pressure release, but once I did, the steam valve works so smoothly that I barely think about it. The pot itself feels heavy and solid, and the colored exterior is a nice touch that makes it stand out on the stove.

The valve spring on this pot releases pressure exactly when it should, making stovetop cooking much more predictable. I’ve used it for soups and stews, and the lid seals tightly without any steam escaping early.
