It took a few tries to get the core perfectly centered, but once I got the hang of the spiral design, it removed a clean, continuous plug of seeds in one satisfying twist. Best part is the stainless steel blades stayed sharp after a dozen apples.

The little ring handle makes this way easier to grip than my old corer, and it slides through apples in one clean push. I've been using it for pies and the core comes out in a single piece with barely any waste.

I've been coring apples for pies for years and this little tool makes it a two-second job. The blade goes through cleanly and the core pops right out without mangling the fruit.
