This masher feels surprisingly sturdy in my hand, and I love that the head is designed with those little holes to really break up lumps cleanly. It made my mashed potatoes perfectly smooth with almost no effort at all.

I picked this up hoping for something better than my old flimsy masher, and the extra-thick stainless steel handle gives it a nice solid grip. It mashed a pot of boiled potatoes evenly without much effort, though I wish the head were slightly wider for bigger batches.
