Fits perfectly on my 26cm pots and doesn’t rattle around at all. The glass is surprisingly resistant to heat, so I can check my simmer without lifting it and losing steam. Glad it’s a genuine Swiss-made piece, feels solid for the price.

The glass is thick enough that I don’t worry about it chipping when I drop it on the sink, and it fits my widest pot without wobbling. Steam escapes evenly through the vent, so my sauces reduce just right, though I wish it came with a handle that stays cooler after a long simmer.

I’ve been using it daily for soups and sauces, and the glass is thick enough to see the boil without lifting it — the steam vent really does cut down on splatter. The lid sits snug over the rim, so I don’t worry about wobble when stirring. A bit heavier than my old one, but that’s why it feels solid
