The burner's cast-iron ring sits perfectly stable on the table, and the adjustable flame control is more precise than I expected. I used it for a cheese fondue party, and it kept the pot at an even temperature the whole evening.

The beechwood has a lovely, warm grain that matches well with my neutral kitchen, and the burner ring sits perfectly flat on my table. It's been rock-solid through two fondue dinners now, and cleans up easily with a damp cloth.

I was pleasantly surprised by how stable the wooden stand feels even with a full fondue pot on top. The beechwood finish is smooth and gives the whole setup a warm, classy look.
