ESSENTIAL Sieb gross

The handles sit perfectly in my palms, even when the sieve is loaded with steaming pasta, and the wide rim makes pouring the water out a breeze. Cleaning it takes seconds under the tap, which is exactly what I need after a busy weeknight dinner.

This colander is the perfect size for rinsing a big batch of berries without everything falling out—the holes are just right. The handle feels sturdy and comfortable to grip even when my hands are wet. I've been using it daily for two weeks now and it's held up beautifully.

Finally found a strainer that doesn't bend under heavy pasta loads—the solid metal handle feels really sturdy. It's the perfect size for draining a big pot of vegetables, and everything rinses clean in seconds.
