ESSENTIAL Mandoline

The non-slip base keeps everything steady while slicing, and the blade glides through potatoes like butter. I've been prepping vegetables way faster since I got this.

First time using a mandoline and the Swiss engineering shows—the adjustable thickness dial clicks into place so precisely that my potato slices came out perfectly even for gratin. Cleanup took under a minute thanks to the smooth surfaces.

The blade is razor-sharp and the adjustable dial made quick work of zucchini ribbons for tonight's pasta. I've sliced through carrots and celery without any slipping, and cleanup took under a minute. A bit bulky in the drawer, but it earns its spot.
